We had a big leak and our well qualified plumber could not find it. He immediately recommended Sleuth and after a four day wait and lots of anxiety Phillip Eddy came and did his sleuthing. Clearly our leak was more difficult to find than most. Phillip was able to narrow down three possible places for access. He began outside with the hope to avoid any damage inside, and was close, but had to keep searching inside. The sound of his sledge hammer through themaster bedroom floor was a little unnerving but entirely worth it.Because Phillip persevered, our plumber was able to make a complete repair. Phillip left an arrow to the exact place where the pipe was broken. He was also very considerate in explaining what he was doing and why, andleft everything as clean and neat as possible. Philip Eddy of sleuth leak detection spent a long time checking all possibilities and explaining and demonstrating to me that there was no leak consistent with what a plumber had indicated. He checked and double-checked all scenarios and found that there had been an outside faucet that was open and probably making it appear that there was a slab leak. The problem was actually with aging shut off valves. This saved me thousands of dollars in repairs that I had been led to believe were necessary.
