We had water coming in our home during a heavy rain through a bedroom wall. We ended up getting connected with Slueth to find the leak. Jay Blizzard contacted me the day of our scheduled appointment with an estimated time of arrival, showed up on time, and found the cause of the leak promptly. He was very professional and informative. Very high quality service, highly recommended!

I called and they were booked solid for a few days, but I scheduled the appointment and they said they would contact me if someone else cancelled. There was a cancellation and as promised they called me and moved me up on the schedule. The day of the appointment, Jason called about 8:30 am and said he would arrive between 11 am and 1 pm. He called again at 11 and said he would be arriving in 20 minutes, and he did. He was able to locate the leak in short order. Jason was friendly, efficient, and provided great communication on his arrival, unlike some service businesses which merely say "We'll be there sometime on Tuesday." If you suspect a leak somewhere in your waterline or irrigation system, I highly recommend them.

I am a resident of Indian Rocks Beach and President of a three building condominium there. We have had high water bills and suspected a leak for some time. One of our meters was still indicating flow after the valve to the units being served from that meter were closed. We had two other services come out to our location, but they were not able to locate the source of the leak which was indicating a rate of about 5 gallons per hour. I called Sleuth leak detection and Kyle came out the next day. Kyle was professional, knowledgeable and personable. He was persistent in his efforts to find the leak and was successful. The leak was in a location we were not aware was being serviced by that meter. I would highly recommend this incredibly Capable company for your very difficult leak detection needs.

Ryan from Sleuth Leak Detection just found the source of a leak that could not be found by another company. Although that technician was not able to find the leak, the technician rather gave us an incorrect finding saying that our shower pan was the source of the leak and thus we would need to replace the entire shower. After several tests, Ryan determined that our shower pan was not the source of the leak. Bad news turned into good news thanks to Ryan form Sleuth Leak Detection.

Excellent service! Field Technician, Marty, was thorough and persistent. Smoke tests and acoustic leak detection pinpointed the baffling issues. Pleasant to work with and took the time to listen to the history of the issues. Thank you to Marty, and Jason.

We knew we had a water leak from under our house and it appeared that it might be under the concrete slab in the walkway up to the front door. We called "Friends" plumbing to come over to take a look and give us a recommendation as to how to proceed. In very short order it became apparent the leak was actually coming from under the floor near the front exit door inside the house but there was no way of determining the exact location. We were advised to find a leak detection company to take the step further, because Friends Plumbing could not help at all, which we did. This after being presented with a bill for $199 for his 15 minutes with us explaining that there was nothing they could do with an issue like that. I bring up "Friends" plumbing in this review to clearly express my unhappiness with their response and exorbitant charge. It was apparent within minutes that he could not help but had no conscience about charging us $199 for his 15 minutes of inability to help.

On the other hand, we did locate a great leak detection company in Sleuth Leak Detection, and their representive named Ryan. Ryan came one hour prior to their scheduled time and assessed the issue in minutes. During the next 2 hours of trying to pinpoint the exact location he had all the tools and technical equipment and technical know how necessary to do the job. In the end the leak turned out to be in one of the hot water lines that was leaking directly under a "footer" along the home's foundation. Ryan explained that a leak, such as this under a footer, presents a significant challenge for any plumber to actually make the repair since the concrete depth under a typical foundation Footer runs up to 21 inches deep. Ryan went further on to mention that most plumbers would care not to take on such a job as it entails heavy duty jack hammering up the area around the floor inside the house near the front door.

After additional discussion with Ryan from Sleuth, it was determined that the more practical approach, with long time protection against future similar incidents, was to re-pipe the house- and that is the direction that we will be taking with a clear head.

Many many thanks to Ryan and the Sleuth Leak Detection team. We could not be happier with their professionalism and technical knowledge of the issue. They even went on to make some recommendations for plumbers that could handle such a large scale home re-piping project. Thanks again to Sleuth and especially Ryan. We would highly recommend this company for similar projects that you may encounter in the future.

Jay BLIZZARD was the absolute amazing SLEUTH specialist to detect a leak… After two plumbers came And wanted to re-pipe he gave me piece of mind that I had no leak in the walls or the floor, and that it was just a running reverse osmosis… He was professional, physically fit, and was really the Superman of SLEUTH leak detection!
