Jay was very professional didn't take very long to find out where the leak was coming from went over at step by step come to find out it was from the irrigation system and not my pipes which saved me hundreds of dollars I would recommend sleuth first before having a plumber come out so they can detect where the problem is coming from Great company.

Initial contact was with Eileen, who was very informative & professional on the phone Our tech was Jason, who kept us informed about his arrival time. Once he got here, he asked pertinent questions, explained everything in a way we could understand, and was very thorough in his sleuth skills, detection of the leak, opening a hole in the floor & clamping the leak until the plumber could get here. **Update: I have changed my review stars from 2 to 5 stars because within 3 hours of writing this review I received a call from Sleuth Customer Service to discuss my comments. I have to commend any business who actually reads AND responds to reviews, as well as, responding to reviews in such an immediate manner. Thank you, Julie!They went back over the taped phone conversations and agreed there was miscommunication regarding fees and are working with us to do the right thing. We are waiting to receive our promised resolution needed to help with our insurance claim.No customer service... compassion. Only concerned about nickel and dime'ing for every little thing instead of taking care of customers and doing the right thing. They work for getting money from insurance companies and could care less about the people that are left in the turmoil.read more

I had water damage on my walls with no visible leak. I was able to get an appointment in less than 24hrs. The tech called as promised with the service window and arrived at that time. Kevin was thorough and very professional and identified water intrusion more substantial than what I had found with the culprit being a main drainage pipe behind the wall. He was also gracious enough to explain it to a few HOA Board members I had come over to see. Sleuth Leak Detection is the real deal! Thank you!

JAY was here on time with a friendly smile! He asked questions, listened to us and started checking out areas of concern. You couldn't see or hear the leak, but JAY quickly found microbacteria, and a moisture rating of 99.9% in the wallboard! Had to cut hole in sheetrock and there it was. My upstairs neighbor had Sleuth Inc come out to inspect a leak in their shower that had come through my ceiling. Called plumbing company that then referred me to Sleuth. They gave me a quick estimate on time they would arrive and showed up on the early side of that window. Matthew Booth was friendly, prompt, and efficient. He located the problem areas and marked them off for the plumbing company to be able to now come and fix the issues. I also ended up calling the insurance company while he was here & he said they worked with them frequently. He told the lady the type of inspection & report they typically request and that was different than the basic leak detection I had currently hired him to preform.... He asked if she would need him to do the other report Because he didn’t want me to be double billed for it. She stated the basic that he was performing would be fine. And a more detailed report would not be required.
